Examples of Present Indefinite Tense

Definition of Present Indefinite Tense:

The simple present tense is used when an action is happening in the present time, or when it happens regularly present time. Here we use the 1st form of the verb. In the simple sentences of Present Indefinite Tense, or  In the case of the third person singular number, ‘s or es’ is added with the verb.

Examples of Present Indefinite Tense:

Affirmative or Simple Sentences:

  • He goes to school daily.
  • They love to play Cricket.
  • I prefer coffee to tea.
  • Ali and Ahmed play football.
  • I love to listen to music.
  • She loves to travel.
  • The poet writes amazing poems.
  • John likes mangoes.

Negative Sentences:

  • He does not go to school.
  • They do not love to eat apples.
  • We do not attend the party. 
  • You do not read the article.
  • The girls do not run so fast.
  • Edward does not drink the juice.
  • They do not come zoo every Monday.
  •  I do not go for a morning walk in the park.

Interrogative Sentences:

  • Do you love to play cricket?
  • Does she eat pizza at the party?
  • Do we go there?
  • Does he take breakfast?
  • Do you eat bananas in the morning?
  • Do Ali and Umer like to dance?
  • Does it is your book?
  • Do you like to play with children?
